History of Ugbajo Itsekiri UK
The organisation was founded towards the tail end of the year 2004 after the disintegration of Itsekiri Youth Association (IYA). There was the need for an enabling body whose goal primarily is to promote the Itsekiri culture and improve social interaction amongst our people. Certain individuals with burning desire decided to gather our kith and kin through various medium here within the United Kingdom to meet every last Sunday of the month to discuss the challenges facing our generation. And most importantly to celebrate our cultural heritage. Amongst such individuals are the past presidents of the organisation Mr. Ogbe Ogbobine, Mr. Tony Edegbele, Mr. Evans Amiwero, Barr. Jolomi Omagbitse and Remi Efele
