The organisation is based in the United Kingdom and membership is open to all Itsekiri sons and daughters resident in the United Kingdom and Europe.
Membership forms can be completed online or in person at a general meeting which takes place at the last Sunday of every month.
In addition to the several member benefits listed in the organisation's constitution, members have the opportunity to:
- partake is social-cultural activities that enables individual development in the Itsekiri language, traditions and culture.
- learn Itsekiri cultural devotions e.g. Omoko, Ogono, Alala, Ulu-Omi etc through participation.
- promote unity within the Itsekiris in Diaspora through regular engagement events with individuals, societies and other organisations.
- contribute to charitable activities of the organisation through Ugbajo Itsekiri UK Incorporated.
